The Grove Primary School

Home Learning

Views about home learning vary greatly though most people would agree that good communication about its aims and purpose are essential if it is to work sucessfully.

At The Grove we believe that developing a regular home learning routine is important to the development of the children's work habits. Home learning is designed to support school work and practice important skills and concepts introduced during lesson time.

Home learning is set across the curriculum and the amount varies as the children progress through the school.

Expectations and timetables may be found in the Curriculum Booklets [Curriculum] for each Key Stage

Please take time to read our Home School Agreement [Parents/Parents Responsibilities] to see how important a role you play in supporting us with home learning.
